Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Response in Vance, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Our Security Officers monitor and patrol a dynamic automotive location, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the automotive location, including buildings, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
