Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Bank Headquarters Entry Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and customers with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of a team that reflects Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of banking offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with the protection of personnel, visitors, and property.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
