Description
General responsibilities
- Process receipts and issuances of products
- Inspects quality, quantity and compliance of received goods
- Assists in establishing and supplier contracts and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
- Prepare and maintain warehouse and stock reports
- Observes stock quantities and establishes minimum stock level to determine replenish and delivery requirements
- Regularly inspect stock and assets
- Keep asset and inventory warranties and establishing links with repair service providers
- Manage a stock system control and store keeping
- Keeps asset inventory always updated
- Assist in regular market surveys
- Ensures all capital equipment are insured according to NPA’s, donor’s and local regulations
- Ensures all asset and stock movement operations are fully documented and filing system well organized
- Ensures all office consumables and supplies are procured in timely manner, stored and available for seamless functioning of offices and departments
- Other duties and tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor
Specific duties
- Implement proper recording and reporting systems of all inventory and assets inclusive of updated inventory
- Evaluates the performance of suppliers and assists customs clearing process and coordinates the processing of assigned customer orders
- Keep accurate and up-to-date inventories of any stock held, and replenish and distribute them in line with the programme’s requirements
- Keep accurate and up-to-date inventories of field teams and departments, including updating all files in hardcopies and in ERP - Agresso
- Keep accurate and up-to-date asset history files, including detail of all servicing, repairs and handovers
- Arrange for any servicing and repairs as required
- Constantly evaluate all local suppliers, their products and prices to obtain the best value for money and conduct regular market surveys
Qualifications:
Education:
- University degree/diploma in a relevant field
- Good knowledge of English and Ukrainian - both speaking and writing
- Good computer skills
Experience:
- One or more years of experience within the humanitarian sector
- Two years or more experience in the relevant logistic field
- Previous work experience in insecure environments and able to work effectively under difficult conditions
- Experience with software for procurement, warehousing and fleet management is desirable
- Experience in importation and customs procedures is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Systematic and organised in approach, including accuracy, consistency, and attention to details, tenacity, and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to meet deadlines and work calmly under pressure with limited supervision
- Excellent health
