This is a unique opportunity to bring your project management, coordination, support, and administrative skills into play and contribute to the success of the Greenfield Automation Program. 

Note: This temporary position is at a Professional level. No relocation assistance is offered.

Core Responsibilities

In this newly established temporary position, you will support the Greenfield Automation Program, which is building the future automated packing and logistics flows for LEGO® Operations. Your responsibilities will span project management, coordination, administration, and program support. You will primarily support the Senior Director, the Program Team, and Program Owners, adapting your contributions to the needs of the different project phases. More specifically, you will:

• Provide project support, including document creation and maintenance, report administration, meeting and workshop preparation, calendar management, and the development of presentation materials with clear and impactful messaging.

• Track actions across program workstreams, coordinating progress with Project Directors and key stakeholders.

• Support program planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities.

• Follow up on timelines, project performance, status updates, and KPIs.

• Support the Program team in driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices based on project learnings.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including LEGO® engineering teams, suppliers and external suppliers on assigned tasks and improvement initiatives.

You will join the Greenfield Automation team in Billund, consisting of five highly skilled and dedicated colleagues working in close collaboration with specialists from across the LEGO® value chain.

Across Pre-Pack, Final Pack, and Logistics, the team is defining the future automated processes and standards that will guide both new factories and existing production sites, beginning with our new manufacturing facility in Virginia (USA), scheduled to start production in January 2027.

The program has a high level of strategic visibility and delivery focus, and in this role as Assistant Project Manager, you will play a significant part in helping the team achieve its ambitious goals.

The ideal candidate brings relevant experience supporting project management through coordination, administration, planning, and structured execution. You are highly organized and thrive in an environment where priorities shift and collaboration is key. In addition, you bring:

• Experience organizing workshops, steering committee meetings, or coordinating smaller project workstreams is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining structure, clarity, and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Teams, and OneDrive with the curiosity and strong willingness to learn.

• Adaptability and resilience, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively across a variety of audiences.

• A learning mindset, high level of service orientation, and a positive, self-driven, can-do attitude.
