About Mesh
Every company has operational systems that capture what happened across the business.
Every company has an ERP that records the financial outcome.
Between them sits something surprisingly fragile: the financial logic that determines how operational reality becomes financial truth.
Today, that logic lives in spreadsheets, approval chains, tribal knowledge, and the heads of experienced accountants.
Mesh is building the governance layer for financial logic. We ingest operational data, orchestrate AI and human workflows, apply company-specific accounting policies, and produce governed, explainable financial outputs that CFOs, controllers, auditors, and boards can trust.
We believe the governance layer for financial reasoning will become foundational infrastructure for every AI-native enterprise.
Why Mesh
Accounting is one of the last major enterprise workflows still held together by spreadsheets—not because the industry resists change, but because every business has thousands of edge cases that traditional software couldn't model.
Our founders have spent years building financial software alongside accounting teams.
Our moat isn't access to foundation models. It's the governance layer built on top: financial policy engines, workflow infrastructure, enterprise integrations, evaluation systems, audit trails, and years of accumulated customer knowledge.
We also believe AI fundamentally changes how great companies grow.
The next generation of category-defining companies won't simply hire larger sales teams or spend more on marketing.
They'll build intelligent systems that compound, where AI accelerates research, messaging, customer education, onboarding, and every interaction throughout the customer journey.
We're looking for someone excited to help invent what that future looks like.
The Role
We're looking for a Founding GTM builder to help build Mesh from the ground up.
This is not a traditional GTM role.
You won't inherit a playbook. You'll write the first one.
You'll work directly with the founders to design how an AI-native enterprise company grows—from category creation and customer education to outbound, onboarding, expansion, and the systems that eventually replace founder bandwidth.
Just as importantly, you'll become a domain expert.
You'll spend time with Controllers, CFOs, accounting managers, and auditors to understand how enterprise finance actually works. You'll learn why billion-dollar companies struggle to close their books, why accounting policies become so nuanced, and how operational decisions ultimately become financial statements.
Because we believe the best enterprise GTM isn't about selling.
It's about deeply understanding the customer's world.
What You'll Build
- Category-defining narratives grounded in a genuine understanding of enterprise accounting.
- Growth systems that compound instead of campaigns that expire.
- Signal-based outbound infrastructure that knows who to reach, when to reach them, and why.
- AI-powered workflows that research companies, enrich accounts, personalize outreach, automate follow-up, qualify opportunities, and continuously improve over time.
- Customer onboarding systems that scale enterprise implementations while preserving a world-class customer experience.
- Content that finance leaders actually want to read because it reflects the realities of month-end close, internal controls, audits, and accounting operations
- A connected GTM operating system spanning CRM, enrichment, product usage, customer success, support, and internal knowledge.
- Experiments across messaging, positioning, onboarding, pricing, expansion, customer education, and automation—keeping what works and throwing away what doesn't.
What You'll Bring
- Customer obsession — You start with understanding customers before deciding how GTM should work. You enjoy spending time with users, uncovering patterns, and translating customer insights into better systems.
- Intellectual curiosity — You love becoming an expert in difficult domains. You don't just learn enough to sell—you learn enough to teach. You're excited to understand how enterprise accounting works, how financial close operates, why controllers make certain decisions, and how finance organizations earn trust.
- Domain-first mindset — We don't expect you to arrive as an accounting expert. We do expect you to become one. The best enterprise GTM builders immerse themselves in the customer's world until they can speak their language naturally, challenge assumptions, and create content that practitioners genuinely respect.
- Love of difficult problems — You're energized by complexity. Rather than choosing easy markets, you're excited by high-stakes, data-heavy enterprise workflows where correctness matters and earning credibility takes real work.
- Bias towards action —You're comfortable being the first GTM hire, and adjusting and pivoting when something isn't working. You thrive on proacti
