The Role
The Senior Manager – PLM Platform, Data & Integrations is a senior PLM technology leadership role responsible for executing PLM modernization, strengthening the PLM data foundation, and enabling AI and analytics capabilities in support of the company’s product development strategy.
This role focuses exclusively on PLM platforms, PLM data, and PLM-centric integrations, supporting the transition from legacy and fragmented PLM capabilities toward a simplified, future-state PLM architecture. The role partners closely with the Director of PLM Technology and business partners, executing against defined strategy, architecture, and roadmap priorities.
How You’ll Make a Difference
• Execute the PLM future-state architecture and modernization roadmap in partnership with the business.
• Establish a strong PLM data foundation for scale and AI readiness
• Reduce manual PLM effort through automation and AI-enabled capabilities
• Validate next-generation PLM, CAD, and data capabilities through pilots and POCs
• Simplify legacy PLM platforms and reduce complexity
• Enable faster product development through trusted PLM data
PLM Strategy & Architecture Execution
• Execute the PLM future-state architecture defined by PLM leadership
• Create OKRs and KPIs in support of company level goals
• Deliver against a multi-year PLM consolidation and simplification roadmap
• Support transitions from legacy PLM platforms to modern PLM/PDM capabilities
• Ensure PLM platforms align to NPD, Quality, and Supply Chain workflows
PLM Data Foundation & Governance
• Establish and operationalize a PLM data foundation.
• Implement PLM data profiling, data dictionaries, and data rule libraries
• Lead data cleansing initiatives to remove unused, duplicate, or poor-quality data
• Define business data models for product and BOM data
• Improve data guardrails and enforcement within PLM platforms
AI Productivity & Data & Analytics Enablement
• Enable analytics and AI capabilities through high-quality, governed PLM data
• Deliver AI-driven automation such as product description generation and model numbering
• Deploy AI agents to support PLM end-user training and support
• Ensure AI solutions are explainable, secure, and compliant with PLM governance
Next-Generation PLM Capabilities
• Deliver and assess PLM and engineering POCs including computer vision use cases
• Support engineering effectiveness through standardized CAD templates and workflows
• Define requirements for configurable or graph-based BOM management
People Leadership & Delivery
• Lead and develop a global PLM platform, data, and integration team
• Set clear goals, execution plans, and delivery expectations
• Foster a culture of accountability, modernization, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years experience in PLM platforms, data, or lifecycle management
• 5+ years experience leading technical or cross-functional teams
• Strong background in PLM data quality, governance, and modernization
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in product-driven or engineering-led organizations
• Exposure to AI or advanced analytics applied to product data
• Experience leading global or distributed teams

PAY
Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:
California Base Pay Range: ($120,000 - $200,000 )
