As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization as directed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
- Maintain a professional presence while following post orders, applicable regulations, and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
