Correcteur / Corrector : $30.53 ou/or $36.63 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

Requirements:

• A BSc or BSc and MSc with a strong background in protein structure and function.  Must have a working knowledge of the methods used to solve protein structures – x-ray crystallography, cryo-electron microscopy, and NMR spectroscopy.  Must have a strong working knowledge of protein visualization software – PyMol and Chimera. 

Nature of Work:

• The corrector will invigilate and mark both the mid-term and final exam and will meet students for exam viewing and grade discussion. The corrector will assist students with their choice of research paper and will track the chosen research paper for each student prevent students from working on the same research paper.  The corrector will mark the research paper.
