INTERNAL AUDITOR

Location: Elsies River, Cape Town

A well-established company based in Elsies River, Cape Town is looking for an Internal Auditor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an audit/compliance professional with an interest in environmental sustainability, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and compliance audits.
• Identify risks, non-conformances and areas for improvement.
• Assist with risk assessments and internal control reviews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable legislation.
• Assist with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain accurate audit and compliance documentation.
• Support environmental and sustainability-related initiatives.
• Assist with ISO management system compliance and continuous improvement.
• Prepare audit findings and reports for management.
• Follow up on corrective actions and ensure effective close-out.

Requirements

• Qualification in Internal Auditing, Auditing, Risk Management or a related field.
• 2–3 years' relevant experience in internal auditing, compliance or a related environment.
• Experience with internal audits and compliance monitoring.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Environmental Sustainability / ESG experience will be advantageous.
• Experience with ISO 14001 or other ISO management systems will be advantageous.
