Description
The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
Conduct guided tours at the Urban Renewal Exploration Centre (UREC) and provide docent services at URA project sites, equipping the public with knowledge of urban renewal
Assist in maintaining smooth daily operations of the UREC, including managing the UREC booking system and coordinating exhibition schedules for group visits
Share knowledge and experiences through school talks and public sharing sessions etc.
Provide on-site and logistics support to events
Requirements:
Degree holder in in communications, marketing, journalism or public relations, with at least 1 year of relevant experience in events management, community relations or corporate communications
Relevant experience in tour guiding and youth development
Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua for spoken languages
Knowledge of urban renewal with prior related experience will be an advantage
