Associate, Operations - 2nd Shift
Shift: Second Shift [4:00 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.] Sunday - Thursday

What will you do?
A day in the life of an Order Processing Associate at VF looks a little like this.
The Order Processing Associate is responsible for accurately processing customer and store orders within a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role supports outbound operations by picking, packing, and preparing apparel and footwear products for shipment while ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery in alignment with company standards.

Order Fulfillment & Processing
- Pick customers and store orders using handheld RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Accurately select apparel, footwear, and accessory items based on order details
- Navigate warehouse locations efficiently using bin, aisle, and zone sequencing.
- Pack orders according to company standards to ensure product protection and presentation
- Verify item quantities, sizes, SKUs, and shipping details prior to order completion
- Maintain required productivity rates (units per hour/lines per hour) while meeting accuracy expectations
- Route completed cartons to correct outbound lane/conveyor system
Quality & Accuracy
- Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies before shipment
- Identify and escalate inventory or order issues (shortages, mispicks, damaged goods)
- Maintain high levels of accuracy to meet operational KPIs and customer expectations
Inventory & System Use
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory movement
- Maintain accurate records of order progress and completion
- Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation IF needed
Safety & Compliance
- Operate pallet jacks, and other equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety procedures at both locations
- Report any safety concerns, damages, or discrepancies immediately

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Hiring Range:
$14.90 USD - $18.63 USD per hourIncentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
