Vector Fleet Management is seeking an Automotive/Light Duty Mechanic to join our team in the Aurora, NC area.  If you have at least two years of proven Automotive or Light Duty Mechanic experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL “A or B” is a real plus!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Automotive/Heavy Equipment Mechanic will perform PM's and repairs on all types of powered equipment
• Be familiar with all major components and functions to include power unit, drive train, suspension, hydraulics, electrical, etc. 
• Perform diagnostics and selected repairs on equipment involving the summary of components and systems stated above 
• Automotive/Light Duty Mechanic will train and assist other mechanics in all areas
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment. Including but not limited to cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas
• Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance
• Technical education in a related discipline with experience, or on the job experience that includes performing service and repair on vehicles and/or equipment components and systems summarized above is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and pass drug test and background check.
