PURPOSE
The Group Head of Talent & Organisational Development will lead a small team to drive the strategic planning and execution of all talent management, leadership development and team effectiveness programmes and practices for the Group.
The role will encompass all areas of Talent & Leadership including:
- Executive Team Development
- Coaching
- Talent Assessment
- Leadership Development
- Organisational Development
- Succession Planning & Hi-Potential management
- Culture building & change management
- Manager Effectiveness & Engagement
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Talent framework, dialogues, assessment and development strategies
- Assessment and development support for key GO executives – as a team and individually
- Design and implementation of all leadership programmes
- Partnering with Market CEOs to develop strategies to build individual and team effectiveness
- Group / Market Facilitation of key programs
- Build on OHI strategies and implementation (including innovation strategies and the design and implementation of a coaching culture)
- Feedback / 360 design and strategic roll out
- Support and design of Group wide senior forums (Forum55)
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in talent and OD
- Certifications in relevant assessment methodologies, coaching etc would be a plus
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Senior leadership HR-related role required
- Experience managing regional high-performing individuals or teams required/preferred.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the talent function required
- Excellent strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, able to influence and facilitate decision-making among multiple, diverse parties
- Willingness and demonstrated track record of being hands-on
