Strategic Marketing Manager

This role is a senior individual contributor responsible for assessing industry/market trends and setting the framework for strategic decisions. The ideal candidate should demonstrate comprehensive understanding of technical and commercial environments and be able to leverage semiconductor industry knowledge to identify technology inflections/opportunities and create recommendations for strategic business direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Owns monitoring market analytics, consolidation of metrics and communications related to strategic business operations within Applied Global Services.

• Conduct market intelligence surveys on semiconductor industry landscapes, customer profiles, and peer performance and identify trends/outliers as key actionable insights for business decisions, including modeling/forecasting of customer demand.

• Engage with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, Business Development, Operations, and Sales to gather relevant analysis and support service product development process.

• Develop and improves procedures for market segmentation and analytics to support business growth outcomes.

• Regularly briefs executives and creates executive-ready narratives and data-driven recommendations in support of business operating rhythm.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science, or Business/Marketing plus 8 years experience in semiconductor industry

• Strong business / marketing analytics experience with a performance-based track record

• Semiconductor industry experience desired, technical background preferred

• Critical thinking and ability to influence and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Sales, finance, marketing, strategy, management).

• Strong analytical and communication skills; adept at executive storytelling and data-driven decisions.

Salary Range:

$133,500.00 - $183,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
