Operations Manager

Location: Macon, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Starting Salary: $60,000+ per year, based on experience

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and help ensure the facility runs safely, efficiently, and smoothly. This position is responsible for managing employees and schedules, coordinating staffing, maintaining accurate records, and improving overall operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, workflow, and facility activities
• Manage employee scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping
• Coordinate staffing levels to meet operational needs
• Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support to employees
• Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
• Maximize facility space utilization and organization
• Maintain accurate administrative records, reports, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and management
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Assist with workforce planning and operational scheduling
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and productivity goals
• Address operational issues and help resolve problems in a timely manner
• Perform other duties related to the overall operation of the facility

Qualifications

• Previous operations management, operations supervisor, or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Experience with employee scheduling, attendance, timekeeping, and workforce coordination
• Administrative experience required
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with SAP and/or Excalibur preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
