As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Welcome Services in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming and visible presence, assisting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related operations. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to help address concerns, document activity, and contribute to a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Welcome visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access to the building lobby and reception area, help to deter unauthorized entry, and direct guests to appropriate offices, tenant suites, or building resources.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Answer incoming calls, provide professional assistance and information, document security-related concerns, and communicate relevant activity to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
