On this team you will have the opportunity to turn creative ideas into reality, affecting products that are utilized by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.As a Principal Software Quality Engineer in our AI R&D team, you will be expected to provide mentorship, solve complex technical challenges, and manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will play a key role in defining quality strategy and driving testing excellence across our AI-powered products and platforms.
Your Impact
- Work closely with Software Development, Data Science, and Product Management teams to design, architect, and deliver next generation AI products, leveraging Generative AI, agentic systems, and machine learning technologies to create differentiated customer experiences and business value.
- Lead the strategy, architecture, and implementation of test automation frameworks across AI, API, UI, integration, and performance testing domains.
- Drive automation quality practices, ensuring comprehensive automated validation is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Define and track automation coverage, test effectiveness, and quality metrics to continuously improve release confidence and engineering productivity.
- Partner with development teams to embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates for AI powered products and platforms.
- Evaluate and adopt modern test automation technologies, including AI assisted testing tools, autonomous test generation, and intelligent regression testing approaches.
- Champion shift left testing practices and mentor software developers on automation design patterns, maintainability, and scalability.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- 8+ years of progressive designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks and automated testing solutions.
- Expert level proficiency in test automation technologies and programming languages commonly used for automation development (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript).
- Demonstrated experience implementing test automation across API, UI, integration, end-to-end, performance, and AI model validation scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, automated quality gates, and test execution orchestration within modern DevOps environments.
- Experience measuring and improving automation ROI, test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.
- Proven ability to lead automation strategy and drive adoption of quality engineering best practices across multiple teams.
- Experience with AI Application Testing, LLM Evaluation, or Agentic System Validation
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Passion for finding creative solutions to problems and pride in delivering high quality software experiences.
