Responsibilities / Tasks

The Service Sales Engineer is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy by promoting and securing sales of field services, upgrades, customized service projects, service level agreements and repairs. This role ensures a unified customer approach in collaboration with whole organization to maximize joint opportunities.

Acting as the primary voice for GEA’s complete portfolio, the Service Sales Engineer identifies and qualifies new leads, builds strong customer relationships, and delivers tailored technical and commercial solutions. Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presentations to proposal delivery and CRM tracking—while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines, local regulations, and contractual requirements. The position also drives market intelligence, competitive analysis, and innovative engagement strategies to strengthen customer experience and achieve sustainable growth. This position integrates an integrated business vision by incorporating data-driven insights and sustainability-focused solutions, fostering continuous improvement and value generation.

• Execute service sales strategy and Go To Market within Service Sales Manager alignment for area of responsibility.
• Lead Service Sales activities and prioritize initiatives by market opportunity, segment and competitors.
• Define market strategy, needs and actions to achieve sales/growth objectives alongside Service Sales Manager.
• Identify, categorize and prioritize service project opportunities by NPE business alignment.
• Participate in the negotiation of offers, quotations, and contracts (T&Cs).
• Meet and/or exceed Sales Budget.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through high quality service levels and execution.
• Operate in partnership with new equipment sales team to identify opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.
• Daily use and update CRM.
• Introduce Data Driven Market Intelligence Solutions based on competitive analysis and customer insights.
• Drive Customer-Centric Innovation looking for new experiences for client’s engagement and retention.
• Establish new omnichannel alternatives to enhance customer engagement.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, basic sciences or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years in Service Sales or Equipment Sales Experience.
• Sales engineering context understanding and CRM system use experience.
• High professional ethical standards and diverse workplace experience.
• Experience in NPE solutions by exposition or exposure.
• Proven experience leading selling process and abilities to sell value.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and in the official language of the role-based country if apply.
• Ability to engage effectively across diverse levels, functions, cultures, and business contexts.
• Integrity, credibility and a strong commitment to company’s mission.
• Consultative Selling, Negotiation and Objection Handling.
