Outside Services/Player Services - Golf Department

Description

· Stage golf carts for the guests' use.

· Properly set up the driving range and practice area

· Maintain a clean and well-organized cart barn.

· Perform all required cart maintenance procedures. (washing, drying, detailing, etc.)

· Constant communication with the Golf Shop

· Keep areas around the clubhouse, entryway, and restrooms clean and well organized.

· Make sure all golf carts are clean and stocked properly

· Perform all required opening & closing procedures and security of the owner’s assets.

· Ability to open and secure the facility

· Operate the driving range picker, unload and wash driving range balls

· Organize hitting mats, pick up baskets, and return them to the ball cage

· General cleaning of facility clubhouse and restrooms is a requirement. Cart barn employees maintain the restrooms near the clubhouse every hour of operations

· When players return the carts to the cart barn following their round, cart barn employees clean player clubs

· Perform other duties as requested by Management and Golf Shop Staff

Requirements

· Must be 18 years or older; golf course experience preferred.

· Customer service experience

· Punctual and reliable, with reliable means of transportation

· Exceptional grooming habits, maintaining a clean and complete uniform as designated by Management

· Required to be available for work on all major holidays and weekends. The only day our course is closed is Christmas Day.

· Must regularly lift and move up to 65 pounds

· Physical, Environmental, Cognitive and Social Requirements:

· Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping, stand for long periods of time, outdoors exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions (hot and cold) and moderate to loud noise level.

· Frequently required to stoop, bend, crouch, and squat climb, kneel, in and out of golf carts, and to twist at the neck and waist, reach above and below shoulder level, push and pull when retrieving, storing and moving golf bags; use dominant hand and fingers to feel and grasp, push and pull and for find manipulation to detail carts, clean clubs, and use two-way radios.
