Description
The Veterinary Eye Center of Massachusetts seeks to welcome a full time Client Care Coordinator to our talented team in Newton, providing best in class ophthalmic care for dogs and cats. The practice is the first standalone referral ophthalmology practice in the region.
We are a staff of inspired veterinary professionals, practicing modern medicine in a state of the art and collaborative environment, ensuring you have the tools, technology, and support needed to succeed, grow and thrive.
The role is responsible for working collaboratively with our clinical staff and doctors as well as independently in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the practice – it is a wonderful opportunity to use and expand your skills and bodies of knowledge in a boutique specialty environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Greet clients and patients, deliver best in class customer service, and make sure all client questions are answered in an informative and friendly manner
- Communicate and collaborate with staff regarding patient care and client questions
- Document communications and conversations
- Maintain common areas
- Perform intake/discharge duties
- General administrative duties
- Answer multiple phone lines
- Fill/dispense medications per doctor’s orders
- Manage the appointment schedule
- Receive payments for services rendered
What We Need:
- Someone with 1 year or more of veterinary experience in a client facing role preferred - Other client facing experience considered
- A candidate with highly evolved written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Someone that is comfortable around all types of animals – primarily dogs and cats
- A person who is exceptionally organized and has a keen eye for detail
- Someone with the ability to adapt and work well in a busy environment
- A passion for animals
