The Strategic Partnerships & Alliances (SP&A) team is looking to hire a Senior Sales Representative to accelerate revenue growth in the APAC market, primarily in Greater China. We are looking for a driven hunter to shape strategic deals with FactSet's data, analytics, and technology solutions into the fintech and AI space. This role focuses on originating new business and expanding existing client relationships.
You will drive FactSet's growth and market share across Greater China by executing a clear sales strategy and consistently hitting revenue targets. This role requires seniority and strong networking skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with founders, business developers, product managers, technologists, and data scientists. Rigorous pipeline management and adherence to sales best practices are critical to success.
The reporting line for this role is based in Hong Kong.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth and exceed quarterly targets across new business and existing accounts
- Build and expand a strong network across the client base, introducing FactSet to new client groups and engaging at senior and C-level
- Execute a disciplined, high-activity sales process with rigorous pipeline management, high-quality trials, and strong negotiation through to closure
- Drive lead generation through internal support channels and creative outreach strategies via social and professional networks
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales, specialist sales, and implementation teams to advance and close complex deals
- Represent FactSet at industry events, conferences, and forums to build brand presence and generate pipeline
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within financial services, market data, or financial technology
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing significant, complex deals
- Strong understanding of the Greater China financial services market
- Broad and current knowledge of financial markets, market data solutions, and the AI and fintech landscape
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility and maintain relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
