Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a well-established, collegial medical team in Oxford, CT.

Essential Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine care to patients across the lifespan.
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Order, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and prescribe evidence-based medications and treatments.
- Provide preventive care, health screenings, wellness counseling, and patient education.
- Establish long-term relationships with patients and families through continuity of care.
- Collaborate with specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement, population health, and other organizational initiatives.
- Stay current with evidence-based clinical practices and applicable healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
- Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and recent residents are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication, clinical, and interpersonal skills.
