Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, vendors, and media personnel at the front desk of a media and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor records.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate professionally with guests and staff in a high-visibility reception environment.
• Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, and access-control activity as assigned, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and supporting emergency response activities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required. 
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
