Job Description

As a Security Officer Security Clearance Front Desk  in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while managing access, greeting visitors, monitoring entry activity, and communicating security-related concerns. Your attention to detail and customer service will help create a secure environment for employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access policies.
• Monitor visitor entry, verify identification and authorization, issue temporary credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Receive, screen, and direct phone calls, deliveries, and guests while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Monitor access-control systems, alarms, and communications equipment; report irregularities and coordinate appropriate responses in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
