Description
Our mission: eliminating every barrier to mental health.
Spring Health is a global mental health company on a mission to eliminate every barrier to mental health. We're building a world where getting support is simple, personal, and built around the person, so care can continue through every job, move, health plan, and life stage.
Our AI-native platform helps us deliver personalized support across self-guided tools, coaching, therapy, medication management, and specialty care. With outcomes independently validated by JAMA Network Open and the Validation Institute, Spring Health reaches more than 170 million people worldwide through leading employers, health plans, and partners.
As an AI-native company, we believe technology should expand the reach, quality, and humanity of care. Every Spring Health team member is expected to use AI tools thoughtfully, apply human judgment to AI outputs, and keep building AI fluency in ways that support their role and our mission.
This role will be responsible for identifying and leading new revenue bets as part of the Growth Strategy team. The team takes net-new revenue opportunities from idea to launch (0 to 1), with the potential to then own the P&L and scale beyond launch (1 to 100). This is a full-time position based in NYC and reports to the Senior Director of Business Operations and Growth Strategy. Occasional travel may be required for team events or meetings. The role operates under a hybrid model, with three days per week in our HQ at 60 Madison Ave office required.
What you’ll do:
- Stand up new bets from scratch — own the hypothesis, prove the unit economics, and determine the path to scale.
- Leverage data-driven insights and business intelligence to make decisions and design and build new products or ventures.
- Design and run fast, lean, in-market experiments to get real product-market-fit signals.
- Mobilize stakeholders across functions — from R&D to Legal & Regulatory and Medical Affairs, among others — to quickly bring new bets to market
- Identify and integrate AI and automation into the innovation process to drive meaningful gains in speed and output quality.
- Stay current on external trends, AI advancements, and industry benchmarks — and bring what's relevant back into how we build and innovate.
What success looks like in this role:
- You've moved new bets from 0 to 1 and can point to the revenue or pipeline it created.
- You ruthlessly prioritized and quickly made hard decisions, especially when a bet isn’t panning out.
- You’ve been a hands-on builder and let AI multiply and accelerate what you can do.
- You clearly defined what success looks like and delivered results against it.
What you’ll bring:
- 5–7 years of experience, including direct exposure to 0-to-1 building: as a startup founder, an early operator at a hypergrowth startup, or a builder inside a corporate incubation studio or venture-building firm.
- Top-tier consulting firm background strongly preferred, with 1–2 years of operating experience at a hypergrowth startup.
- Healthcare experience is a plus, not required. BA/BS required; MBA a plus.
- Comfort holding ambiguity and ownership at the same time. You define the plan when there isn't one, and roll up your sleeves to get it done.
- AI fluency. You're a power user. You know when to trust the output and when to override it.
- Communication that mobilizes: You can bring cross-functional stakeholders along on a bet that isn’t proven yet.
The target base salary range for this position is $177,200 - $221,500 and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
