Stores Utility

Description

Summary: 

A member of our utility team. Receives, stores, and distributes parts, tools, equipment, and other assorted merchandise within the Revere Storeroom and Revere mills.

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cement Mixing and Finishing.

• Cleaning of Production Machine Pits.

• Confined Space Entry.

• Crane Rigging.

• Handling of Acids, Hydrogen Peroxide, etc.

• Jack Hammer operations.

• Landscaping and Brush Removal.

• Machine Coolant Changes.

• Operate Heavy Equipment i.e.:

 - Bobcat

 - Crane Car

 - Forklift

 - Pay loader

 - Straddle Carrier

• Painting, facility and grounds improvements, basic “handyman” services.

• Snow Removal / Salt Spreading.

• Spill Containment Procedures and Clean-up.

• Various preventative maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

The successful individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are also desirable:

• Valid Driver's License.

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks on heavy equipment.

• Be willing to work weekends and overtime if required.

Special Demands:

• Be capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Be able to climb ladders and comfortable working in elevated environment.

• While performing the duties of this job, will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.

• May be exposed to wet or humid conditions.

• May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.

• May be regularly exposed to high noise environments.

• May be exposed to extremely dusty environments.

• May be exposed to chemicals used in the manufacturing process.

Education / Training:

Minimum:

• High School Graduate and/or GED

Preferred:

• Prior industrial experience preferred including mobile equipment operation.

Shift:

3:30 pm - 11:30 pm

Pay Range:

$26.25/hour
