Description
Senior Director, Marketing
| Job Title | Senior Director, Marketing |
| Classification | Exempt |
| Reports To | SVP of Growth |
| Schedule | Full-Time | Remote |
Our program, SC360, provides point-of-care referral decision support, routing every referral by clinical appropriateness to one of three tracks: an eConsult, a virtual specialty care visit, or a curated in-person specialty network. This ensures every patient gets the right care, at the right time, through the right channel.
No one walks in already expert across all three of these disciplines, and we don't expect that. What matters is real, hands-on depth in some of them, plus the judgment to direct the rest, whether through the contracted resources already in place or the team you build as the function grows. This is a role for someone stretching up into bigger scope and ownership, not someone senior reaching down for an easier pace. If you want to build something from the ground up and grow into leading it, this is that role.
- Campaign Calendar & Reporting: Own the campaign calendar and reporting for marketing to AristaMD's existing customer base, including newsletters, webinars, nurture sequences, and usage campaigns that drive adoption and utilization among providers already served.
- Marketing Operations Partnership: Partner with the marketing operations consultant to build and maintain lifecycle stages, attribution, and segmentation in HubSpot.
- Performance Reporting: Report monthly on utilization lift and net-new active provider engagement, by account.
- Thought Leadership: Partner with clinical and executive leadership, and with clients where appropriate, to turn AristaMD's work and results into keynotes, bylines, and speaking opportunities that educate the market on the specialty care problem.
- Market Education Content: Own the content engine that drives top-of-funnel awareness, including blog series, gated whitepapers, and case studies that translate clinical and customer results into market-facing proof points.
- Conference & Event Strategy: Set AristaMD's conference and event posture, including which events to prioritize and speaking opportunities to pursue, and own the event request process end to end: vetting requests, setting budgets, and coordinating participation.
- Earned Media & PR: Build relationships with healthcare trade press and drive press release and byline placements that build AristaMD's authority in specialty care management.
- ABM Foundation & Automation: Finish building AristaMD's account-based marketing foundation, including our CMS-data-driven ICP scoring tool and the third-party data and contact-enrichment partnerships that feed it, and turn it into a continuous, automated process for identifying, scoring, and engaging target accounts, rather than a one-time list-build.
- Outbound Direction: Direct how that engine feeds outbound execution, partnering closely with business development on targeting, messaging, and sequencing as the account universe grows.
- Playbook Development: Build repeatable playbooks so campaign-building doesn't depend on any one person.
- Messaging & Positioning: Maintain and evolve AristaMD's messaging hierarchy so positioning stays consistent across web, sales, and content, in partnership with Growth and clinical leadership.
- Sales Enablement & Collateral: Own the collateral library, including one-pagers, case studies, and competitive materials, working with the design consultant to keep every asset current and on-message.
- Marketing Material Intake: Run the marketing material request process: intake, vetting, and turnaround for materials requested across the team.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure messaging, terminology, and design stay consistent across every channel and asset the function produces.
- Process Design: Design and stand up the operating processes a growth marketing function needs as it scales.
- Org Design & Team Building: Recommend the org structure and hiring plan for marketing as the business grows, then build and lead the team, one function at a time, as headcount is approved.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Client Experience so marketing, sales, and account management work off the same data and definitions.
- 7+ years in B2B marketing, with genuine hands-on depth in at least one or two of growth marketing, account-based marketing, or content and thought leadership, and enough command of the others to direct people or partners doing that work
- Direct, hands-on HubSpot (or comparable marketing automation platform) experience: able to build lifecycle stages, nurture sequences, attribution, and segmentation independently
- A track record of building a marketing function or program from scratch, without an existing team or an established playbook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executive, clinical, and cross-functional audiences
- Data driven approach; comfort interpreting program and pipeline data and generating actionable insights
- Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities (campaigns, content, events, ABM) in a remote environment
- Growth & ABM Depth: Credible, hands-on experience building account-based marketing programs and growth campaigns from strategy through execution
- Marketing Operations: Direct fluency in HubSpot (or equivalent): lifecycle stages, attribution, segmentation, and campaign builds
- Storytelling & Thought Leadership: Turns clinical and customer results into compelling market-facing narratives, content, and earned media
- Project Management: Runs complex, multi-workstream programs (campaigns, content, events, ABM) with minimal oversight
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Builds trust with Growth, RevOps, Sales, Client Experience, and clinical leadership; translates results into shared pipeline, positioning, and utilization insights
- Analytical Thinking: Translates program and pipeline metrics into meaningful insights and improvement actions
- Adaptability & Builder's Mentality: Thrives building a function from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; self-directed and mission-aligned
