Position Name – Principal Officer

Location -  Gift City-Ahmedabad

Experience Range – 5 years

 Mandatory Requirement:

• Experience using tools used in the venture capital industry  

About the client: Company is a leading tech venture capital fund focused on enabling entrepreneurs in India, Founded in 2006,based in Bangalore. The funds advised by Company collectively have over $700 M under mgmt and 80+ companies across Consumer Media & Tech, Cloud/Software, Health-tech and Fin-tech.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Keep pace with Gift city requirements and compliances to the regulations therein, implement them in fund and manager entities.
• Comply with all the regulations without exception
• Represent the fund with regulators and investors in a systematic manner
• Interact with policy makers and participate in the Gift city policy making exercise.
• Work with a team and report to Indian compliance officer.
• Maintain proper documentation for all activities undertaken at Gift city.
• Coordinate with trustees, custodians, bankers, regulators for all approvals and transactions
• Process the investor onboarding, compliance with KYC from AML policy under PMLA regulations.
• Fund structure understanding and design to make it best benchmarked
• Understand the fund administration and management 

Qualification and Experience:

•  Minimum 5 yrs experience in BFSI 
• Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with organizational goals.
