Description
An established and highly reputable organization is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its team at short notice on a short-term contract. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role spanning the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through performance, employee relations, development, compensation and offboarding.
The HR Manager will provide trusted advice to employees and leadership, ensure employment-law and policy compliance, support payroll and benefits, and contribute to workforce planning, organizational change, employee engagement and broader people initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within professional or financial services. A relevant HR qualification such as CIPD would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of the Cayman Islands Labour Act and related legislation, as well as HR best practices.
- Experience advising managers and senior stakeholders on employee relations and performance matters.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently.
