Our client, a leading engineering technology organization, is looking for an Application Engineer to support customers, technical sales, and business development across North America.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical or Automotive Engineer who enjoys combining technical expertise with customer interaction, software solutions, and commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support during customer meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and product evaluations.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
- Support sales opportunities through technical presentations and customer engagement.
- Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted technical advisor.
- Prepare technical proposals, documentation, and training materials.
- Support trade shows, webinars, seminars, and other industry events.
- Provide customer training and technical support as required.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience providing technical/end-user support.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
Assets: Experience with SMT MASTA or similar software, transmission/driveline design, Python, MATLAB, .NET, or technical training.
