About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong Intern - Sales Operations Analyst who can connect business goals with data-driven insights. This role is ideal for an MBA graduate with a strong interest in business analytics, general management, marketing, or sales strategy. The candidate will work closely with sale operations, and leadership teams to analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, improve reporting processes, and support decision-making across customer, revenue, and market-facing functions.
The role requires a balance of analytical thinking, commercial awareness, communication skills, and the ability to translate data into practical business recommendations. The successful candidate will help improve pipeline visibility, sales productivity, market understanding, customer acquisition insights, and operational efficiency through structured analysis and clear reporting.
What You Will Do
- Analyze sales, customer, market, and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and scorecards using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
- Support sales operations activities including pipeline tracking, revenue analysis, forecast support, account performance review, and business planning.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to evaluate customer acquisition, campaign outcomes, market performance, and business development opportunities.
- Convert raw data into clear insights and recommendations that can help managers make informed decisions.
- Prepare business review materials, performance summaries, presentations, and analytical reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, reporting accuracy, data quality, and operational workflows.
- Conduct market, competitor, customer, and product performance analysis to support strategy and planning discussions.
- Assist in CRM analysis, sales funnel review, customer segmentation, and opportunity tracking.
- Support leadership with ad hoc analysis, business cases, and decision-making inputs related to sales, operations, strategy, or market expansion.
What Makes You Eligible
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business Analytics, General Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related business discipline.
- Strong interest in business analysis, sales operations, revenue analytics, market analytics, business development, or strategy roles.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to work with structured business data, identify patterns, and explain findings clearly.
- Working knowledge of Excel is essential; exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, CRM systems, or predictive analytics will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand business problems, ask the right questions, and convert analysis into practical recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity, multiple stakeholders, and changing business priorities.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on data accuracy, reporting discipline, and process improvement.
- Self-motivated, curious, and willing to learn new tools, business models, and analytical methods.
