Job Summary:
Develops short- and long-term security strategies and operations across our multi-state system. Utilizes metrics and organization vision to lead and direct strategic facilities practice and standards. Leads internal stakeholders and external partners to establish a sector-leading organization designed to provide a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as a member of the leadership team providing strategic direction on a systematic security approach, inclusive of all regions, markets and facilities. Provides guidance and recommendations on prioritization of identified needs to maintain protection.
- Works effectively as a team member in a dynamic executive environment in a matrix organization and promotes teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
- Develops, reviews, and maintains and implements security policies and procedures for the system. Ensures compliance and maintains appropriate documentation. Provides awareness of security policies, procedures and programs throughout departments and regions.
- Oversees the operational and budgetary activities and capital plans to support security programs for the organization.
- Leads the development of security solutions to fulfill business strategies and to provide safe, secure and market competitive environments throughout all facilities and points of service delivery.
- Leads collaboration with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, and maintains liaison status with all appropriate agencies.
- Oversees human resource management for the assigned area creating a culture of employee engagement. Ensures HR policies are administered consistently across function. Organizes departmental areas through appropriate structure and delegation of functions. Identifies succession planning needs.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in police administration, law enforcement or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
Experience
- Fifteen years’ experience with five years in a leadership position.
