Seidl Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our three-doctor small animal practice in Hastings, Michigan. We are proud of the high-quality medicine we practice, but we're just as proud of the collaborative, positive culture we've built.
Our team works together to provide exceptional care through wellness visits, sick and injured pet appointments, surgery, dentistry, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser therapy, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. Whether you're an experienced veterinary technician or an experienced veterinary assistant, you'll have the opportunity to use your skills while continuing to learn and grow alongside a supportive team.

What You'll Do
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, surgeries, and dental procedures
- Safely handle and restrain patients using compassionate, low-stress techniques
- Prepare patients for surgery and assist with anesthesia monitoring as appropriate to your role
- Perform laboratory testing and collect diagnostic samples
- Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Monitor hospitalized patients and provide attentive nursing care
- Obtain patient histories and maintain accurate medical records
- Educate clients on medications, preventive care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment
- Collaborate with teammates to provide outstanding patient care and client service
What You'll Bring
- Veterinary Technician license (LVT, RVT, or CVT) is welcomed for technician candidates
- Experienced Veterinary Assistants are encouraged to apply
