Department Overview

Krakow PCR department (Professional and Commercial Radio) develops and delivers software solutions used for business & mission critical communications and workflows in MOTOTRBO systems.

Our solutions are omnipresent globally in many life-critical verticals: healthcare, public safety, transportation, logistics, education, hospitality, energy, manufacturing, retail etc. Indeed, we help people in the moments that are important to them.

We are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing (unit-to-system level), delivery and maintenance.

In our products we use a number of technologies related to both on-premise and cloud-based development. Recently we expanded our technology stack with mobile app development.

We apply agile methodologies to organize our work ranging from cross-functional teams to portfolio management.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to drive the design, topology definition, and configuration of our large-scale, high-availability communication systems.

In this role, you won't just be maintaining existing infrastructure—you will own the technical blueprint. You will translate high-level strategies into detailed network topologies, prepare production-ready router/switch configurations, and provide definitive architectural recommendations to ensure maximum reliability and scalability.

If you have a deep passion for routing protocols, traffic engineering, and building resilient network backbones from the ground up, this role is for you.

Basic Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of experience, preferably in large-scale enterprise, telecom, or service provider network engineering and architecture.

• Routing & Switching Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of advanced routing protocols, switching, and signaling mechanisms.

• Design Track Record: Proven experience defining network topologies, writing technical specifications, and building high-availability failover architectures.

• Lab Environment Creation: Demonstrated experience in creating, configuring, and utilizing physical or virtual network labs to test and simulate configurations and topologies.

• Capacity Modeling: Strong background in data traffic analysis, capacity planning, and network simulation/modeling.

• Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision

• A great team player

• Good verbal and written English communication.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math or related fields.
