Sentara Halifax Hospital is hiring a Full Time Cook in Patient Dining.

Schedule rotates days including holidays.

The Cook prepares all hot foods for patient trayline, café, and functions including (but not limited to) entrees, vegetables, starches, and bakery items.

Education

• HS Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

• Certification - Food Handlers Card per local Health Department (Required)

Experience

• Previous experience cooking in full service dining, healthcare setting, education setting, etc. - Required
