Aqua Fitness Instructor

<span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0;">The City of Inver Grove Heights seeks Aqua Fitness Instructors to provide safe, effective, fun and easy to follow fitness classes and programs to members and guests of our Community Center. Must be able to deal with people effectively, exhibit responsible judgment, understand and follow oral and written direction and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public. Must be 18 years of age or older and pass a background check. &nbsp;All positions require current CPR and First Aid certification plus the specific certifications listed for the positions below. &nbsp;Positions are Part-time 1- 20 hours per week. Childcare and complimentary fitness membership available. A completed City application must be submitted online.</span><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0;">&nbsp;EOE.</span><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0;">Teach Aqua Exercise, Arthritis Water Exercise, Aqua Zumba, Deep Water Exercise, Silver Splash or another format.&nbsp;</span><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0;">The position requires a group fitness instructor certification from a Nationally recognized organization (e.g. AFFA, AEA, Silver Sneakers, Zumba, ACE or NETA).</span><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-indent: 0">Must possess the physical ability to perform the functions of the position and ability to accept risks associated with utilizing necessary equipment. Minimum qualifications vary by position.</span>
