Facilities Maintenance Worker II

The City of Gahanna is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker II to perform multiple functions including emergency repair, general maintenance, and preventive maintenance in the new Civic Center. The Maintenance Worker II is responsible for performing a variety of skilled maintenance work both inside and outside of City buildings. Under the direction of the Facilities Superintendent, this position performs multiple functions that are essential to the operations of the City including emergency repair, general maintenance, and preventive maintenance. 

Any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job's essential functions.

• High school diploma or GED required. 

• Two (2) years of building construction and/or building trades experience.

• Current and valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driver’s abstract to meet criteria for insurability established by the City of Gahanna.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

**Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.
