Description

Healthcare providers, poison control centers, and government departments need trusted evidence to protect patients and public health. Universities need reliable resources to educate the clinicians of tomorrow, while pharmaceutical organizations and health plans need timely insights to advance their work.
Micromedex by Merative has been trusted by users around the world for over 50 years:
Patient Safety: Impartial and curated clinical evidence that’s continually reviewed and updated to inform safe decision-making at the point of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Clinical Efficiency: Innovative search functionality for fast insights, and seamless workflow integration in electronic health records (EHR) for clinical efficiency and enhanced digital maturity of your organization.
Organizational Performance: Trusted resources on a single platform to enhance clinician experience, with tools to manage medication costs and support patient satisfaction, including HCAHPS scores.

Micromedex is modernizing a mission-critical clinical decision support platform used by healthcare organizations worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who brings structure, accountability, technical depth, and an inquisitive mindset to complex engineering delivery.

This role coordinates delivery across three scrum teams, helping translate priorities into clear plans, visible dependencies, and measurable progress.

You will combine delivery leadership with technical fluency across APIs, integrations, security, platform dependencies, agentic AI concepts, and AI-enabled planning, working inquisitively with squads to understand technical constraints, build realistic plans, and improve flow, visibility, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery operating rhythm across three engineering squads, including planning cadence, dependency visibility, and follow-through on commitments.

  • Partner with Product and engineering squads to take requirements through discovery and design cycles, size technical work, and build executable delivery plans.

  • Manage risks, blockers, and dependencies early, escalating clear decisions or trade-offs when needed.

  • Maintain clear accountability for delivery status, progress, risks, decisions, owners, and follow-through actions.

  • Frame delivery, technical, and security risks for senior stakeholders with clear impact, mitigation options, owners, and decision asks.

  • Apply AI-enabled and agent-based planning concepts, including Rovo or similar tools, to improve backlog readiness, sequencing, dependency visibility, and execution insight.

  • Capture and use delivery metrics to improve throughput, cycle time, predictability, quality, and accountability.

  • Coach teams and product partners on pragmatic Agile practices, estimation, planning discipline, and delivery follow-through.

  • Coordinate cross-squad planning across teams, services, and vendors to surface dependencies early, reduce bottlenecks, and support delivery commitments.

  • Support release planning for security, maintenance, vulnerability remediation, patching, compliance, and operational readiness.

  • Partner with Security, DevOps, Operations, Product, and Engineering to sequence release work with minimal customer disruption.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 8+ years of experience in technical project management, scrum mastery, delivery management, or a related software engineering role.

  • Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams delivering complex software initiatives.

  • Experience partnering with product managers to clarify requirements, support discovery and design, size work, and build delivery plans.

  • Ability to work with technical leads and squads to shape realistic technical plans, identify dependencies, and track delivery commitments.

  • Technical fluency across UI/UX, APIs, integrations, cloud or platform dependencies, security considerations, agentic AI concepts, and release planning.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, blockers, rollouts, and senior stakeholder communications.

  • Experience capturing and reporting delivery metrics, risks, dependencies, and execution health.

  • Ability to partner effectively with technical leads, architects, product managers, security, DevOps, operations, and vendors.

  • Strong facilitation skills across distributed teams.

  • Comfortable turning ambiguous initiatives into actionable delivery plans.

  • Creative thinker who can identify practical options when delivery paths are unclear or constrained.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification.

  • Experience with healthcare, clinical, regulated, or mission-critical software platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled planning, agent workflows, delivery analytics, Jira, Confluence, Rovo, or similar tools.

Work Environment:

  • Minimal travel may be required for team alignment sessions, planning workshops, or engineering summits.
