We are looking for an experienced, technically adept Finance Manager to take direct ownership of financial reporting across our UK entities. Reporting directly to the UK&I Financial Controller, you will hit the ground running—taking immediate control of our statutory accounting, audit management, and SG&A expenditure with the business partnering with the business owners.

As the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
- Close, Consolidate & Report: Direct month, quarter, and year-end close processes. Balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany trade controlling, parent company consolidation, and statutory filings.
- Manage SG&A and business partnering: Own the overhead cost management and budgeting process, working with LT owners to drive understanding and cost control.
- Audit & Compliance Ownership: Lead external audit engagements end-to-end (management and statutory) and ensure full adherence to US-GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP standards.
- Lease Accounting (A2R): Manage the complete fixed asset lifecycle, including intangible software, IFRS 16 lease maintenance, impairment evaluations, and asset register control.
- Cash Flow & KPI Drive: Local cash budgeting, forecasting, and operational cash management to directly impact key KPIs, including Operating Cash Flow and Free Cash Flow.
- Tax & Statutory Reporting: Drive full tax compliance, including VAT returns, transfer pricing, ONS reporting, FCA reporting and statutory tax packs.
- Technical Governance: Maintain delegation of authority matrix, COA, cost/profit centre structures, and align business units with internal controls.
What You Bring:
- Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
- Proven Track Record: Solid experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Financial Accountant, with a history of stepping in and driving reporting cycles.
- Technical Rigour: Strong, working knowledge of US-GAAP, IFRS (including IFRS 16), and local GAAP.
- Systems Mastery: Direct experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP / SAP S4/HANA. CCH for accounts preparation.
- Stakeholder Impact: Proven ability to partner effectively with local, offshore, and commercial teams.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Drive: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
If you do not have all key skills but still feel like you would be a good fit, please still apply and we will consider your application based on merit and experience.
