- Track and report API adoption, usage, performance, and partner satisfaction to Engineering and business leadership.
- Manage vendor tooling supporting the API gateway, developer portal, and observability.
- Guide the team in helping clients and partners integrate with Orion APIs securely, quickly, and reliably.

- Proven people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
- Hands-on knowledge of designing and operating RESTful APIs at scale, with familiarity with GraphQL, webhooks, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with API gateways and management platforms, such as Azure API Management, Apigee, Kong, or AWS API Gateway.
- Understanding of API security concepts, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, mutual TLS (mTLS), rate limiting, and the OWASP API Security Top 10.
- Experience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to executive and nontechnical audiences.
