Description
Build the systems behind what's next.
At Electric Power Systems (EPS), we design and deliver advanced energy storage systems supporting the next generation of aerospace, defense, and transportation. Our work sits at the intersection of energy storage, systems engineering, advanced mobility, and manufacturing-and we're looking for an Aerospace Systems Engineer II who wants to help solve some genuinely complex engineering challenges.
This isn't a role where you'll spend your days working in a silo. You'll work across engineering, manufacturing, quality, program management, leadership, and directly with customers to turn complex requirements into systems that perform in the real world.
You'll contribute throughout the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development and verification, system integration, technical analysis, safety and reliability assessments, testing, certification, and technical documentation. You'll participate in technical interchange meetings, help resolve integration challenges, support customer and flight-test activities, and contribute to proposal efforts when needed.
We're looking for an engineer who can see both the big picture and the small details, someone who understands how requirements, interfaces, hardware, software, testing, safety, and manufacturing all connect.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of aerospace systems engineering experience
- Experience developing, validating, verifying, and maintaining system requirements
- Experience working with aerospace regulations, certification requirements, and engineering standards
- Strong experience with hazard, safety, reliability, and failure analysis, including FHA, SSA, and FMECA
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
Experience with aerospace or defense systems, lithium-ion batteries, battery management systems, electric propulsion, hybrid-electric vehicles, DOORS or Jama, TSO/STC certification, aircraft architectures, aircraft data buses, BIT functions, or aerospace quality/configuration management is a plus.
Why EPS?
Because you'll have the opportunity to work on technology that is moving beyond the drawing board.
Our engineers tackle challenging problems, work directly with customers, collaborate across disciplines, and have opportunities to influence both the products we build and the way we build them.
At EPS, we're advancing energy innovation across aerospace, defense, and transportation, developing sophisticated energy storage systems for applications that demand performance, reliability, safety, and innovation.
If you like solving complicated problems, learning new things, and figuring out how all the pieces fit together, we'd like to talk to you.
