Build practical AI solutions that make work better
Catania Oils is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Manager of AI Solutions and Enablement to help bring practical artificial intelligence solutions into the day-to-day work of our employees.
You will partner with teams across the company to understand their processes, identify opportunities to reduce manual work, and build useful, repeatable AI-supported solutions. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real business problems, working with people across all levels of an organization, and helping employees feel confident using new tools.
Catania Oils is a fourth-generation, family-owned company with roots dating back to 1900. Our story began when Giuseppe Basile sold olive oil door-to-door in Boston’s North End. More than 125 years later, the Basile family continues to lead the company with the same values of hard work, quality, relationships, and continuous improvement. As we grow, we are investing in technology and AI to help our employees work smarter and better serve our customers.
What You Will Do
• Work with departments to understand and document current processes, identify opportunities, and simplify how work gets done.
• Build and improve practical AI solutions, including reusable prompts, skills, plugins, workflows, and automations using approved no-code or low-code tools.
• Test solutions with employees, document how to use them, and measure results related to efficiency, quality, and employee experience.
• Establish clear success measures with department leaders before building solutions.
• Coordinate business requirements, vendors, user testing, and rollout activities for assigned AI projects.
• Coach employees on practical AI use and partner with Training on targeted learning opportunities.
• Help build a network of AI champions throughout the organization.
• Maintain visibility into AI initiatives, owners, next steps, and results.
• Prepare updates and reporting for leadership and the AI Leadership Council.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities while partnering with IT and security to ensure solutions align with company guidelines.
What This Role Is Not
This position is focused on helping people and departments solve business problems through practical AI use.
It is not a software engineering role, an IT help desk role, or a platform-administration position. IT owns licensing, user access, single sign-on, security configuration, integrations, and technical troubleshooting.
It is also not primarily a scheduling, meeting-notes, or project-administration role. While you will help coordinate projects and keep work moving, the core of this position is understanding workflows, building solutions, testing them with employees, and helping teams adopt better ways of working.
Department leaders will remain accountable for their processes and will become the long-term owners of stable workflows.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in process improvement, program or project management, business operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated success improving processes and delivering projects across multiple teams.
• Hands-on experience with ChatGPT and Codex, including examples of AI solutions you have implemented and helped others use.
• Experience documenting processes, translating business needs into practical requirements, and coordinating work across stakeholders.
• Experience with Claude is preferred.
• An approachable, patient communication style and the ability to explain unfamiliar concepts to people with varying levels of technical confidence.
• Curiosity, sound business judgment, and an understanding of both the opportunities and limitations of AI.
• Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Candidates from any industry are welcome. Software development experience is not required. We are looking for someone with practical AI experience, strong business judgment, and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
Why Join Catania Oils
This is an opportunity to help shape how AI is used across a growing, family-owned manufacturing company. You will have the ability to build meaningful solutions, learn alongside colleagues and outside experts, and see the direct impact of your work on employees’ daily experience.
You will also serve as a subject matter expert on the AI Leadership Council, giving you visibility and influence across the organization.
If you are excited about making AI useful, practical, and approachable for employees, we encourage you to apply.
