## Role Purpose

Lead and shape the Financial Services growth agenda by leading & developing a high-performing strategy team to identify & execute high-value market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and M&A initiatives; developing compelling investment and business cases; and driving the commercialization of new opportunities to accelerate revenue growth, expand market presence, and create sustainable long-term enterprise value and competitive advantage.

## Core Responsibilities

• Drive Financial Services growth through M&A, strategic investments, partnerships, and new business opportunities aligned with Vodafone Egypt’s growth ambitions.
• Identify and prioritize high-value growth opportunities by assessing market trends, competitive threats, emerging business models, and attractive industry adjacencies.
• Support in strategic assessments and investment decisions across M&A, market entry, new ventures, and innovation, evaluating strategic fit, commercial potential, risks, scalability, and expected returns.
• Build and manage the strategic growth pipeline, converting priority opportunities into actionable business cases, investment proposals, partnerships, and transactions.
• Lead strategic transformation and digital growth initiatives to unlock new revenue pools, strengthen capabilities, and create sustainable competitive advantage.
• Business Development: Identify emerging Financial Services trends and regulatory opportunities to shape growth and M&A priorities.
• Drive M&A due diligence and valuation, covering financial, commercial, operational, and regulatory dimensions.
• Structure and negotiate acquisitions, investments, and new ventures to maximize strategic and shareholder value.
• Drive post-acquisition integration and synergy realization against approved business cases.
• Develop strategic partnerships and fintech alliances to expand capabilities, customer reach, and revenue.

## Must have technical / professional qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• High level strategic thinker - Extensive experience of setting and delivering high level business strategies within multinational organisations/consultancies
• Commercially driven, able to rationalise strategies into deliverable, operational business plans
• Strong communication and influencing skills, credible at leading and able to build cross functional partnerships
• Successful leadership track record, preferably through managing a sizeable team
