For the expansion of our international DT Commercial team, argenx is looking for Product Owner – DT Commercialization - DT Medical Affairs.
This role will own the technology vision and value delivery for our Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation capability within Digital Technology (DT) Commercial. It is accountable for translating the goals of our Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation teams into a clear product vision and a prioritized backlog for platforms that support scientific exchange. By acting as the primary liaison between medical experts and technical teams, ensuring all solutions meet key compliance standards, and enabling the use of technology to generate insights, this position is directly responsible for ensuring our digital ecosystem supports effective and compliant medical engagement.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the digital product vision and prioritize the backlog for key Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation platforms, including Medical CRM and scientific exchange tools.
- Act as the primary medical-to-tech liaison, translating complex scientific engagement and evidence generation needs into clear, actionable user stories.
- Ensure all digital solutions strictly adhere to non-promotional regulations and medical integrity standards, embedding compliance into the design process.
- Drive the development of tools and analytics to capture and analyze global medical insights, enabling data-driven strategic decision-making for Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation leadership.
- Act as the steward for the end-to-end user experience for Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation platforms, ensuring they are intuitive and effective for field medical teams and HCPs.
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for success, continuously measuring the value and impact of the technology on scientific engagement objectives.
- Provide clear, day-to-day direction to various delivery teams on what to build next, ensuring alignment with Medical Affairs priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for delivery teams, providing constant feedback and clarification on medical requirements to empower effective execution.
Skills and Competencies
- Deep knowledge of product management principles, particularly in defining a product vision and strategy that aligns with Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation goals.
- Skilled in translating complex scientific or medical business needs into clear requirements and user stories for technical teams.
- Ability to own and prioritize a product backlog based on scientific value and strategic importance within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Expert knowledge of the legal and regulatory compliance framework governing non-promotional activities and scientific exchange in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of the digital technologies that support Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation, such as Medical CRM and platforms for insight gathering and scientific content dissemination.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively together within cross-functional teams and networks.
- Demonstrated communication skills, within a multi-cultural and multi-lingual global environment.
- Is agile and demonstrates adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, trust-building, and resilience.

Education, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master Degree preferred in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 5+ Years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst with a focus on delivering solutions for Medical Affairs, Clinical, or R&D functions.
- 5+ Years experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a strong understanding of Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation business processes and compliance requirements.
- 5+ Years experience owning a product roadmap and using KPIs to measure and communicate the value of technology solutions to scientific or medical stakeholders.
- Up to 20% travel required
For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $156,000.00 - $214,500.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans and program guidelines.
