What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate haul units to transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry.
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Follow established safety procedures, traffic patterns, and operational standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and supervisors to support production goals.
- Maintain a clean work area while contributing to efficient and reliable quarry operations.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial, construction, mining, or quarry environment.
- Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to inspect equipment, identify potential issues, and communicate concerns effectively.
- Dependable work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment while adapting to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
