About the job 

You manage and develop parts of our global Down the Hole (DTH) product portfolio throughout its lifecycle. Working closely with customers, sales areas, R&D and Operations, you drive business growth by identifying opportunities, developing our offering and turning customer needs into business results. 

Job responsibilities 

• Develop product strategies and roadmaps aligned with the DTH strategy. 

• Drive new product introductions and manage the existing portfolio. 

• Follow market trends, competitors and customers need to identify opportunities. 

• Actively engage with sales areas and customers to identify business opportunities, initiate customer trials and drive activities that support business growth. 

• Translate customer and market needs into clear product requirements and priorities. 

• Build relationships and drive collaboration across functions and divisions to develop complete solutions, strengthen customer value propositions and turn opportunities into action. 

Location 

This position is based on-site in Sandviken. International travel is included to meet customers, sales teams and other stakeholders. 

Your profile 

You have a background in product management, sales, application engineering, engineering, or a similar field. More important is your ability to understand technical products, recognize commercial opportunities, and make progress together with others. 

Your background includes

• A relevant degree or equivalent industry experience. 

• Technical understanding combined with a strong customer and business focus. 

• Fluency in English. 

• Experience in mining, construction, or another technical industry is an advantage. 

You’re energetic, proactive and collaborative, with a strong drive to achieve results. You enjoy building relationships, working with others and finding solutions. A proactive and results-oriented mindset, combined with the confidence to challenge the status quo, is essential. An entrepreneurial mindset helps you move between strategic thinking and practical action.
