As a Security Officer Access Control in Robinson, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional at a dynamic food and beverage location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, assist with badge access, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage manufacturing location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and support established procedures for vehicle, material, and personnel access.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
