Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer

About this role

BlackRock Global Markets (“BGM”) functions are at the core of BlackRock’s markets and investments platform, including Index Investments, Markets, Liquidity & Financing, and Platform & Strategy. BGM is passionate about advancing investment processes and platform architecture in these areas and on ensuring we engage with other market participants in a collaborative, strategic way. 

You should be 

• Someone who is passionate about solving sophisticated business problems through data

• Capable of delivering the design, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions 

• Able to work closely with multi-functional teams (e.g., Data Science, Product, Analytics, and Citizen Developer teams) to ensure the data infrastructure meets business needs. 

• Enthusiastic about establishing and maintaining standard methodologies for data engineering, focusing on data quality, security, and scalability. 

Do you have these essential skills? 

• 1+ years Data Engineering experience preferably in the financial sector 

• Strong Python & SQL skills with a proven track record optimizing SQL queries and building Python utilities to facilitate data processing. 

• Experience with SnowFlake, PostgreSQL, Greenplum or similar databases. 

• Strong problem solving skills.

We value if you have 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus. 

• Some experience with ETL/ELT tools like DBT, Pentaho, Informatica or similar technologies a plus. 

• Knowledge of Linux and scripting languages such as Bash 

• Proven experience working in an agile development team. 

• Experience with DevOps and tools like Azure DevOps 

Please note: This is a fixed-term position currently expected to end on 31 December 2027, in line with the planned completion of the EDP transition program. Should the project continue beyond this timeframe, the position may be extended until the project concludes, subject to the employer's decision and business requirements.

The salary range for Hungary is 9785000 - 13400000 HUF

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.

Our hybrid work model
