The Opportunity

The Head of Marketing, US Immuno-Oncology – Lung will lead the development and execution of the integrated US marketing strategy for Immuno-Oncology therapies across the lung cancer disease continuum.

This is a high-impact leadership role spanning current brands, future indications and pipeline opportunities, including significant launches anticipated over the coming years. The role will be accountable for translating a differentiated strategic vision into effective commercial execution across HCP, patient and consumer audiences.

The successful candidate will lead and develop a team of marketing professionals and will work closely with colleagues across Global, Sales, Medical, Diagnostics, Commercial Operations, Managed Markets, Finance, Business Insights, Corporate Affairs and other key functions. The role will also be a critical member of the US Immuno-Oncology and Lung Franchise Leadership Teams, helping to shape the broader franchise strategy, culture and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive launch excellence: Lead the development of pre-launch, launch and post-launch strategies, including brand plans, launch plans, competitive readiness plans and market-shaping initiatives.
  • Develop customer strategies: Establish overarching HCP, patient and consumer strategies, translating customer and market insights into differentiated, compliant and impactful programs across personal and non-personal channels.
  • Build cross-functional alignment: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to align strategic priorities, execution plans, key milestones, investment decisions and performance measures.
  • Lead performance management: Partner with Business Insights, Finance and Commercial Operations to establish success metrics, monitor performance, diagnose opportunities and risks, and recommend appropriate course corrections.
  • Oversee forecasting and business planning: Lead quarterly and annual US forecasting activities, investment planning and performance updates in partnership with Insights and Finance. Support preparation of senior leadership and external business updates, including materials for earnings-related processes where appropriate.
  • Shape lifecycle and evidence strategies: Partner with Global and US functions to define lifecycle priorities, inform US labelling recommendations, identify real-world evidence needs and develop appropriate engagement strategies with external experts and key stakeholders.
  • Manage investment and operating efficiency: Provide stewardship of the lung IO P&L, prioritizing investments based on expected value, impact and return. Oversee program budgets, agency relationships, timelines, governance and operating processes.
  • Partner with Sales and field teams: Ensure marketing strategy is translated into effective field execution, with clear objectives, tools, capabilities and performance measures.
  • Ensure quality and compliance: Lead the appropriate review and approval of promotional materials and programs, ensuring legal, regulatory and medical accuracy.
  • Represent the franchise: Develop and deliver compelling strategic and performance presentations to senior leadership, cross-functional teams and the field organization.
  • Build organizational capability: Lead, coach and develop the Lung IO Marketing team, creating an inclusive, high-performing environment and strengthening future Oncology marketing expertise and leadership capability.
