Junior Sales Associate - OTC Link
OTC Link – New York - Full Time

OTC Link is OTC Markets Group’s SEC-registered alternative trading system, operated by OTC Link LLC, a FINRA member broker-dealer. OTC Link provides the electronic quotation and messaging infrastructure to quote and trade securities across the QTCQX Best Market, QTCQB Venture Market, OTCID Basic Market and Pink Limited Market. Through our expanding suite of trading venues, including OTC Link ATS, OTC Link ECN, OTC Link NQB and Moos ATS, OTC Link also supports electronic and overnight trading in both OTC and exchange listed securities.
The Junior Sales Associate will support the OTC Link Sales and Subscriber Services teams in developing client relationships, driving platform adoption, and assisting with sales activities across broker-dealers, market participants, and related financial services firms. This role is ideal for an early-career sales professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in financial markets, trading workflows, and market structure.
This role is on-site 5 days per week.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in sales, client service, financial services, fintech, brokerage, trading, or market data preferred.
- Strong interest in financial markets, broker-dealer workflows, and electronic trading platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on details.
- Comfortable working with data, reports, CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms.
- Ability to learn complex products and explain value propositions clearly to clients and prospects.
- Professional, client-focused approach with a willingness to take initiative and learn from senior team members.
- Curiosity about market structure, trading technology, and capital markets.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up discipline.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with comfort reviewing client activity and usage trends.
- Collaborative team orientation and willingness to support broader sales initiatives.
- Resilience, professionalism, and confidence in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
- Support senior sales team members in managing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Assist with prospect research, outreach preparation, client follow-ups, and meeting coordination.
- Develop a working understanding of OTC Link products, trading venues, market data, and related client workflows.
- Help prepare sales materials, client presentations, proposals, and usage reports.
- Track sales activity, pipeline updates, client interactions, and next steps in internal systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Client Services, Product, Market Operations, Legal, and Compliance, to support client onboarding and issue resolution.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity relevant to OTC markets.
- Participate in client calls and meetings, documenting action items and helping ensure timely follow-through.
The target base salary for this role is between $85,000-$100,000, with additional compensation composed of stock options and competitive discretionary annual cash bonus. Actual salary within that range is dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
